Our Core Team

  • Baxter Loud – Lead Investigator & Owner
Baxter is the third-generation operator of Loud Investigations and has overseen the business since the early 1980s. Known for his relentless work ethic and encyclopedic knowledge of paranormal containment strategy, Baxter personally leads most on-site investigations and is responsible for final analysis and case closure. Clients often note his no-nonsense approach and ability to “read a room” — even when the room doesn’t want to be read. With certifications in post-ritual fallout mitigation and advanced field stabilization, Baxter is the one you want when the lights won’t stay on and the walls start whispering. He also manages the company fleet, training protocols, and legacy case file reviews.
  • Ella Morgan – Case Management & Scheduling
Ella ensures the front end of Loud Investigations runs smoothly. Whether it’s coordinating urgent house calls or managing client communications, she brings a patient, personable touch to an otherwise unpredictable field. Ella specializes in intake analysis, preliminary client counseling, and follow-up wellness checks. Her background in herbal cataloging and minor protection rituals often proves useful when preparing properties for first-time inspections. Clients appreciate her calming presence, her well-organized records, and her refusal to be rattled — even during high-entity saturation reports. She is also responsible for maintaining the office environment and generally making sure Baxter drinks water.
  • Jasper Renn – Technical Consultant & Gear Specialist
Jasper operates the diagnostics lab and garage adjacent to the main office. A former electronics repair technician, Jasper now specializes in recalibrating analog-magical detection gear, including obsolete signal readers and spell-bound vacuum tubes. He provides technical reports for each case, handles artifact risk assessment, and modifies standard equipment to operate under Aystryl conditions. Clients don’t often meet Jasper directly, but his handiwork is behind nearly every successful field deployment. He is also the only staff member certified to run live glyph scans and relic containment field resets.
  • Peggy “Granna” Tristle – Office Administrator & Records Clerk
Granna has managed the building and administrative side of Loud Investigations since the 1960s. She keeps the books balanced, the files filed, and the lights on (figuratively and literally). While she rarely leaves the building, her memory of older cases and lore is invaluable. Granna also monitors environmental readings from the central office hub and flags repeat site anomalies. Visitors often mistake her for a retired librarian, which she finds amusing. Granna oversees invoicing, payroll, document storage, and occasionally reminds Baxter of important dates.
  • Grey L. – Operations Support & Structural Integrity
Grey handles everything that requires lifting, fixing, sealing, or shoring up. Whether it’s running cable for sigil grid arrays or restoring a collapsed containment perimeter, Grey shows up with duct tape, a wrench, and exactly the right attitude. Their technical knowledge is self-taught and inexplicably advanced. While not much for words, Grey has saved more than one mission by reinforcing trap doors, barricading breach zones, or hot-wiring anomalous vehicles. Clients may never know Grey is there — but if something doesn’t collapse when it should, it’s probably thanks to them.
